Camier is new to the team and has worked on gaining a good base setting over the course of the two day test. The 19 year old completed a total of 97 laps and is still familiarising himself with the Pirelli shod bike. The 2005 British SuperSport Champion posted a best time of 1:08.97 which left him overall second quickest behind team-mate Crutchlow. Camier has produced consistently good times over the weekend which is extremely promising ahead of the start of the season.
Crutchlow topped the time sheets for the weekend, equalling the lap record for a Supersport machine around the Norfolk circuit of 1:08.550. The 20 year old tested a range of tyres, shock and spring settings over the two days, and worked with the team to produce excellent times in the cold conditions this weekend. Crutchlow completed a total of 87 laps and completed his testing schedule in great stead for next weekend's race.
Cal Crutchlow said: “I'm happy with how things went this weekend; the team have worked very hard which has given us a big advantage for when we return here later this year. I'm confident now ahead of next weeks race and I'm especially pleased we managed to equal the lap record considering the cold conditions.” |
